While presidential candidates and their corresponding political parties continue to work their assess off in convincing the nation to vote for them, the employment world is silently observing and analyzing the effects of the impending presidential election in the state of U.S. workers, particularly those who are yet to get a job.

Many people say that if the Democrats win, defense spending will decrease and the economy that has been benefiting from it will suffer. On the other hand, some economists give a safe forecast that a national health-care plan will boost job growth.

Whichever party wins, I believe the most critical issue that needs to be addressed is the slowing economy. From there, the government could start creating jobs and regain the confidence and trust of the people.
